Landscape design in Sedona, Prescott & Flagstaff

Owner-drawn landscape design from a Camp Verde company that has been building Northern Arizona yards since 1997

Owner-led design

Landscape design drawn by the owner, start to finish

Landscape design here starts with Joshua Loveall walking your property. He meets you, listens, and draws the larger projects himself instead of handing them to a crew lead. That has been the way since 1997, and it is the reason people call us rather than a builder with a template.

Because the same company installs and maintains what gets drawn, the plan accounts for the build and the upkeep from day one. We are an Authorized Belgard Contractor, so the paver patio on paper is one our crews put in with Belgard paver installation afterward.

What our landscape design work covers

01 / Design

Landscape design consultation

With endless options for what to landscape and how, a consultant is of real value. Whether you arrive with detailed ideas or none at all, yours will create the plan that accentuates the property and gives your home timeless beauty.

CAD drawings, landscape plans and permits

However small or large the residential or commercial project, we put the draft on paper so the work can be performed by a landscape professional. Permit plans are prepared where the project requires them.

Hardscape and water feature design

Patios, driveways, rock walls, ponds and waterfalls, laid out so grades, drainage and paths work before anyone digs.

Planting, irrigation and lighting design

Plants placed for the sun and wind they will actually get, with the irrigation and lighting drawn in from the start.

Where most designs start

When Northern Arizona homeowners call for a landscape designer

01

A new build with bare dirt all the way around.

02

A backyard that floods every monsoon.

03

An older property where the patio has heaved and the shrubs have outgrown the windows.

04

A buyer who just closed and wants the place to feel like theirs.

Sometimes the first step is out of the design's hands: big trees that need pruning or removal before planting. We handle that too, so the plan starts with the site as it really is.

Drawn for the site

A landscape design built around your soil, slope and elevation

Every plan is drawn for the site in front of us: its soil, elevation, sun, wind and the way the property is actually used. That matters up here. Sedona sits around 4,300 feet and Flagstaff near 7,000, so a planting list that thrives on Oak Creek would sulk under the San Francisco Peaks.

Want to see what that looks like when it is finished? Our project gallery has the patios, water features and plantings, and our article on bringing wildlife into a Sedona garden shows one design idea worked through.

Pricing

Landscape design pricing and the $150 consultation
